EDUCATION
One of UHMSA's major functions is its continuing drive for education, whether it is Islamic, career-related, or historical knowledge. Often times, UHMSA will host a speaker or create a panel of guests who are more than willing to educate young Muslims. We also have 3 regular education classes a week on Quran Tafsir, Hadith, and Dawah. Along with speakers, UHMSA is a strong advocate for interfaith work as well as any opportunity to educate the community about Islam such as our weekly Dawah Table.
In addition, UHMSA offers specialized education programs such as weekly brothers and sisters Halaqahs, Daily Khatiras, a Quran Companion Program to promote Quran memorization and understanding, as well as a book club that promotes discussion of secondary Islamic literature.
